IPU CET Engineering

I have clear exam IPU CET mmm entrance test and JMI with a good rank after polytechnic. What will be your order of preference?

JMI will be a good choice in my opinion, and as you have secured good rank there you should first go there. Keep IPU as a backup.

I got 3 options:(I)BSc(CS) as I scored 96% in 12th boards(II)BTech (CSE) from USIT as I got 817 rank in IPU CET(III)1year drop to go for IIT

It's all on your interests. According to your marks, you can easily pursue B.Tech in IPU. But, if you have full faith that you can crack the next year IIT entrance exams, then only go for one year drop. Otherwise, if you have doubt then do not take a risk of one year. My suggestion is don't go for one year drop, pursue B.Tech in USIT, and then score good in college. All the very best.

For outside Delhi category, there are only 5 seats in the main campus. So, it would be hard to get main campus in the first round. You will definitely get VIPS or Amity. Do not go for IIMT. Whatever college you choose, always hold the upgradation option because you can make it to the main campus after few counselling rounds, and yes there is the option for migrations also.
