The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Tech admission at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) in 2023 are as follows:
- Candidates must have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks to be eligible for admission to B.Tech programs.
- Candidates must have appeared in JEE Main 2023 or CUET (UG) 2023 conducted by JUIT.

B.Tech is a full-time undergraduate programme of four years with a total of 510 seats. According to the official website of JUIT Solan, admission to B.Tech programme is through two modes:
- Valid JEE Main scores and merit basis (marks obtained in 10+2 examination).
- For Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, 50% of seats are filled through JEE Main and the remaining 50% through merit in the qualifying examination.

Jaypee University of Information & Technology, Solan was established in the year 2002. It offers 7 specializations under the B.Tech program, 4 under M.Tech, and 8 under the Ph.D. program. B.Tech is a full-time undergraduate programme of four years with a total of 510 seats. M.Tech is a two-year full-time course with an intake capacity of 18 seats per specialization. - For B.Tech admission, candidates can apply either through JEE Main scores or merit in the qualifying examination (10+2).

The latest cutoff information for B.Tech at JUIT Solan is as follows:
- For admission through JEE (Mains), candidate should have qualified JEE (Mains) All India Rank.
- For admission through 10+2 Marks Merit mode, 60% aggregate marks is must.
