Jaypee University of Information Technology BTech admission for the academic year 2024 has not yet started. In 2023, BTech admission offer by June 08, 2023 and the deadline for submission was June 06, 2023. Based on the last year's schedule, it can be expected that this year also the JUIT Solan BTech applications will release in June and the last date to apply will fall in June.
A tentative schedule derived from last year's schedule is mentioned below:

No, the selection criteria for full-time course is through JEE Main score. Candidates should have minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate in Class 12 or its equivalent examination. Aspirants with gap year (if any) between their Class 12 will be required to submit Gap Period Affidavit (available at university website).

The University has released the placement statistics for the BTech batch 2019-23, 2021-23. So far, the highest package and average package offered to BTech courses during placements 2023 stood at INR 44.14 LPA. A total of 336 BTech students participated, among which 494 total offers were distributed during JUIT placements 2023. The top recruiters who participated in JUIT Solan placements were Cognizant, Infosys, Amazon, Fantaclaus, etc.

The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech programme at JUIT Solan is as follows:
1. Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
2. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the mark sheets by the specified date.
3. Candidates who have cleared the Diploma (Engineering & Technology) examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) are also eligible to apply.

Jaypee University of Information & Technology, Solan was established in the year 2002. It offers 7 specializations under the B.Tech program, 4 under M.Tech, and 8 under the Ph.D. program. B.Tech is a full-time undergraduate programme of four years with a total of 510 seats. According to the official website of JUIT Solan, admission to B.Tech programme is through two modes:
- Valid JEE Main scores and merit basis (marks obtained in 10+2 examination).
- For Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, 50% of seats are filled through JEE Main and the remaining 50% through merit in the qualifying examination.

B.Tech is a full-time undergraduate programme of four years with a total of 510 seats. M.Tech is a two-year full-time course with an intake capacity of 18 seats per specialization.
