Hi there! Just wanted to let you know that if you're looking to get into IIITs, JEE Advanced is the way to go. It's the entrance exam for Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), which are renowned as some of the best engineering institutes in India. On the other hand, JEE Main is for admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs), and other engineering colleges in India. While both exams can get you into IIITs, JEE Advanced is considered more prestigious and competitive because of its association with the IITs.

In contrast, GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is a postgraduate level exam that evaluates a candidate's aptitude in engineering and Science subjects for admission into postgraduate programs and job opportunities in the public sector. Yes, you are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced exam if you have scored 93 percentile or above in JEE Main. However, you should also satisfy other eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced such as age limit, minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination, etc.

Hello Yash Chauhan, National testing agency while declaring results takes into account various categories of reservations provided under relevant Government orders. If you have not mentioned in the application form for JEE Mains examination that you are from EWS category then your merit will be only from general category and not from EWS category. This being the case you may not be able to appear for JEE Advanced examination if your percentile is not above the cut off that will be declared shortly by National testing agency. In any case at such a belated stage one cannot change the category since the time for it is already over. Howeve
