There are two papers in the exam and each paper has questions from these three subjects.

Q:   Will there be same number of questions from all three subjects in JEE Adv exam 2026?

The number of questions in each subjects are generally not same, but the total number of questions mostly ranges from 17 to 18 across all three subjects in both Paper 1 and 2. The number of questions will also be different for each type (MCQ, Matching, Single/Multi correct) within the subjects in paper.

The JEE Advanced exam pattern is dynamic. It changes every year. The only known aspect of the JEE Advanced exam pattern are:

  1. The number of papers: There are two papers - paper 1 and paper 2.
