Indian Institutes of Technology, Guwahati will be responsible to conduct Joint Entrance Examination-Advanced 2023. The exam pattern of the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced is notorious, as it changes without any prior information to the students, unlike the Joint Entrance Examination Main exam.
Medium of the Examination: English and Hindi
The main exam will be conducted online through a CBT (computer-based mode).

Yes, both papers are compulsory. Mode of the exam: The examination will be conducted only in the CBT mode. The number of papers: Joint Entrance Examination-Advanced will consist of two question papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2 of three hours duration each. Language: English and Hindi Total duration: 6 hours Marking scheme: The marking schemes change each year. Negative marks may be awarded for incorrect answers to some of the questions.
