JEE Advanced

JEE Advanced 2023 admit card will be on May 29. The exam will be held on June 4. Candidates who successfully register for JEE Advanced 2023 by paying the application fee, are issued the JEE Advanced admit card 2023. The test centre is allotted via the admit card only. On the day of the exam, candidates must carry a printed copy of the downloaded admit card and their valid original photo identity card. Only candidates having a valid admit card and photo identity card are allowed to write the examination. Only pens, pencils, drinking water in a transparent bottle, a downloaded admit card and an original photo identity card are allowed to be taken inside the examination hall.

JEE Advanced will be held in 2 shifts. The paper 1 exam will be held from 9 am to 12 noon. The paper 2 exam will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The pattern of the exam will be as follows:
-Mode of the exam: The examination will be conducted ONLY in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. -Number of papers: JEE Advanced 2023 will consist of two question papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2 of three hours duration each. Both papers are compulsory. -Language: English and Hindi
-Total duration: 6 hours
-Marking scheme: The marking schemes change each year. Negative marks may be awarded for incorrect answers to some of the questions. Details of the marking scheme will be provided in the Instructions to Candidates section at the time of examination. -Number of sections: Each question paper will consist of three separate sections, viz. Physics Chemistry and Mathematics.

IIT Guwahati will conduct JEE Advanced on June 4, 2023, in computer-based test mode. JEE Advanced 2023 registration will start on April 30 for Indian nationals. The last date to apply will be May 7 for all the candidates. JEE Advanced will be held in 2 shifts. The paper 1 exam will be held from 9 am to 12 noon. The paper 2 exam will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. JEE Advanced 2023 will be held for the top 2,50,000 candidates qualified in JEE Main 2023. This year JEE Advanced will be held based on the new syllabus. The revised syllabus has been made available on this page as PDF. The candidates will be able to select the JEE Advanced 2023 exam centres during the registration process and the exam centre will be allotted to the candidates from the provided choices.
