Candidates are allowed to select 10 exam cities while applying for JEE Advanced exam in order of preference. The authorities will try to allot the exam centre in the most preferred exam city of the candidate.

HNGU cutoff 2024 has been concluded with Round 1 seat allotement results. The JEE Main is necessary to appear in JEE Advanced and to get into the same exam, one needs to score low rank than cutoff. With a better cutoff marks, candidates can surely eligible for JEE Advanced. The minimum marks needed in JEE Main to qualify for JEE Advanced 2025 are usually around 90-91 for the general category. However, these marks can vary slightly depending on factors such as the difficulty level of the exam and the overall performance of candidates.

Candidates will only know their allotted JEE Advanced exam centre after the release of the admit card. There is no way to determine the test centre prior to this. The examination authority assigns a test centre in the city of the candidate's first preference, as specified in the application form. Once the JEE Advanced admit card is released, candidates cannot change their allotted exam centre. Candidates are advised to keep the copy of their JEE Advanced admit cad until the admission process is over. Also, note that no separate admit card will be issued for AAT. The cadidates who will appear for the AAT exam, will have to produce the admit card of JEE Advanced in the AAT examination hall, along with original photo identity card.

Yes. Only pens, pencils, drinking water in transparent bottle, downloaded admit card and an original photo identity card are allowed to be taken inside the JEE Advanced examination hall.

No, it is not compulsory to take the colour printout of JEE Advanced admit card to the exam centre. As per the official brochure - A printout of the downloaded admit card and a valid ORIGINAL photo identity card (any one of the following: Aadhaar Card, School/College/Institute ID, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, Notarized Certificate with photograph) MUST be produced at the time of examination, without which, the candidate will NOT be allowed to appear for the examination.
