JEE Advanced 2026 will be held in around 200+ cities in India and at a few foreign centres. The detailed list of JEE Advanced 2026 exam centres will be available at jeeadv.ac.in.

Candidates are advised to keep the copy of their JEE Advanced admit cad until the admission process is over. Also, note that no separate admit card will be issued for AAT. The cadidates who will appear for the AAT exam, will have to produce the admit card of JEE Advanced in the AAT examination hall, along with original photo identity card.

The main entrance of the JEE Advanced examination centre will be closed at 9 am for Paper 1 and at 2:30 pm for Paper 2.

Yes. Only pens, pencils, drinking water in transparent bottle, downloaded admit card and an original photo identity card are allowed to be taken inside the JEE Advanced examination hall.

In case of any problem in downloading the admit card or any error, the candidate should immediately contact the Zonal Chairperson, JEE (Advanced) 2026.

No, it is not compulsory to take the colour printout of JEE Advanced admit card to the exam centre. As per the official brochure - A printout of the downloaded admit card and a valid ORIGINAL photo identity card (any one of the following: Aadhaar Card, School/College/Institute ID, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, Notarized Certificate with photograph) MUST be produced at the time of examination, without which, the candidate will NOT be allowed to appear for the examination.

As per the official JEE Advanced brpchure, there is no restrictions on tattoo. Candidates can have tattoos and they will not be denied entry becasue of this. However, it is to be informed that tattoos should not alter or differentiate the appearance of candidate and his photo used in filling the JEE Advanced / Mains application form.

The following are some of the important nstructsion for the candidates to be followed on the JEE Advanced exam day:
- The candidate's identity will be verified by invigilators and IIT representatives at the examination centre. If there's any doubt about the identity, the candidate might not be allowed to take the exam initially, but may be permitted provisionally at the discretion of IIT authorities after completing certain formalities. No extra time will be given for completing the exam due to these formalities.
- Impersonation or using unfair means during the exam will result in disqualification from JEE (Advanced) 2025 and any related adm

Candidates must arrive well in advance at the examination centre and complete all necessary formalities as specified in the admit card. Examination centres will open at 7:00 am. Candidates who arrive after the start of each paper (09:00 IST for Paper 1 and 14:30 IST for Paper 2) will not be allowed to take the exam. The main entrance of the examination centre will be closed at these times. There are currently no COVID-19 related restrictions issued by the Government of India, but any updates will be communicated via the JEE (Advanced) 2025 website.
