The following are some of the important nstructsion for the candidates to be followed on the JEE Advanced exam day:

1. The candidate's identity will be verified by invigilators and IIT representatives at the examination centre. If there's any doubt about the identity, the candidate might not be allowed to take the exam initially, but may be permitted provisionally at the discretion of IIT authorities after completing certain formalities. No extra time will be given for completing the exam due to these formalities.
2. Impersonation or using unfair means during the exam will result in disqualification from JEE (Advanced) 2025 and any related admission processes and could lead to legal action.
3. All candidates will undergo extensive frisking before entering the examination centre, with specific instructions provided by JEE (Advanced) 2025 regarding frisking, especially for female candidates.

In JEE Main more than 75% of questions in JEE Main are direct questions as per the experts. Direct questions mean memory based questions and formula-based questions. However, in JEE Advanced, the questions are application based or concept attraction based. Roughly 15% to 20% of questions are direct. Gaining confidence in solving JEE Main level questions is easy. This can be gained by practice. However, gaining confidence to solve the JEE Advanced level question is not easy. It can be achieved if candidates practice a lot of previous year's question papers and mock tests right from the start of their preparation. JEE Main questions are easy to solve and can be solved quickly. JEE Advanced level questions require patience and a cool state of mind. Hence the JEE Mains preparations are not enough to crack JEE Advanved exam, one has to go extra mile to crack the JEE Advanced exam.

The ideal time to start preparing for JEE Advanced depends on your current academic level and the amount of time you can dedicate to preparation. However, the general recommendation is to start seriously preparing for JEE Advanced by Class 11, or at least a year before the exam.

Start Preparing for JEE Advanced in Class 11: This is the best time to begin building the necessary foundation for JEE Advanced. The JEE Advanced syllabus overlaps significantly with the Class 11 curriculum (in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics), so if you start early, you can grasp the concepts and develop problem-solving skills gradually. Why Class 11 is Ideal:

1. You'll have more time to cover the syllabus in-depth.
2. It gives you the opportunity to focus on fundamentals, which are key to solving complex Advanced-level problems.
3. It allows you to gradually develop effective study habits.
4. You can take advantage of both Class 11 and Class 12 subjects when preparing.

JEE Mains is an entry-level exam for admission to NITs, IIITs, and other government-funded technical institutes. It focuses on basic concepts and problems. JEE Advanced is more conceptual and challenging, testing deep understanding and problem-solving ability across subjects. It is required for admission to IITs.
