If you belong to ST or SC category, then you will surely get an NIT during counselling. If you belong to OBC category then you may or may not get an NIT. General category cannot get into NITs with this score.

There are many other government & private colleges which accept your JEE marks other than NIT's, IIIT's, & GFTI's.

No, If you are a General Category student, You are not eligible to attend counselling. You need to score above the cutoff.

Hi Vinay,
Most colleges have a different provision for admission and reservations. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.
