Hello Yash,
You indeed have asked a very interesting question. Answer actually is not simple. Truly speaking, cutoffs are decided by number of seats in IIT vis-a-vis number of students who should appear for it. With abolition of 12th marks, advantage enjoyed by students of some boards will vanish.
Best wishes

The cutoff is decided after the exam and based on the number of people. Generally, the cutoff will be around 72 but it may vary or remain the same.

The JEE Mains cut off for general category is 100. But, to get a seat in NITs, you need to get score above 220 marks. You also need to score 75% in your class 12th.

Hello Venkatesh,
Since method of deciding on AIR has undergone change, data of previous year's cutoff is of no use. However, it is expected that few sites may offer this once exam is over. However, I would advise you to not worry about this and concentrate on your studies.

Its cut-off varies every year like it was 105 for JEE Mains (General category) in 2015 and was 100 this year for the same.
