Percentile scores, basically, tells you how you have performed relative to all other candidates who appeared for the exam. It is not the same as your percentage score. While the percentage score tells you the percentage of the total marks or maximum marks for the exam that you have secured, the percentile score indicates what percentage of the total number of candidates appearing for the exam have scored EQUAL TO or LESS THAN the score you secured. You have really good scores and hence there are high chances for you to get IT branch at SASTRA University. Since the competition is very high, it is difficult to say with assurance. Hence, you can try your best at the counseling to get the course you wish for.

You cannot get admission in any NIT with this rank. You should apply for private colleges. You cannot get CSE in KIIT also.

Yes, you can definitely get a seat with this rank in NIT and that too in streams such as CSE, IP, etc. So, you should definitely apply for the same.

Hi Manoj,
Yes, you can get admission in BIT Sindri in computer Science engineering with this rank in JEE Mains. At the same time, I will suggest you to apply for information technology also. It might happen, that the cut offs for CSE may increase in first round. So it will be safer for you. Best of luck.
