It is very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your graduation in engineering from a college in Maharashtra. Almost 15% seats are reserved for "All India Quota" and admissions to these are based on rankings of JEE Mains exam. I feel that with your very good percentile, you should get admission here. Remember however to register with DTE of tech education of Maharashtra, so that you are called up for counseling for admission. Best wishes to you.

I feel with your percentile, you should be able to get your desired branch in Thapar. However, to help you I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about different aspects of the admission process of this great Institute.
