In case you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if your try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech degree with various specializations. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of class 12 marks. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 12 or JEE or even during the course. In order to seek admission in DIT University for B.Tech, one should have minimum 60% marks in X standard & aggregate 60% marks in XII standard and minimum 60% in Physics Chemistry Maths English/Physics Maths Bio English/Physics Maths English Computer. On the basis of this eligibility, one can register online to DIT University till 05th of June. Registered candidates will then be invited by DIT University for counselling and thereafter on the counselling day. University prepares merit list on basis of JEE Mains rank and class 12th boards' percentage simultaneously. So, thus you are very much eligible for the DIT University counseling which is on 9th & 10th of June. Thus, your chances to get admission in DITU can be either on JEE CRL Rank and as well as on class 12th boards merit
