Your JEE Mains registration form must show General for category selection because the National Testing Agency (NTA) administers this Central Government-run national-level examination. The NTA uses Central Government reservation guidelines which exclude state-level OBC categorizations from eligibility. As per the Central Government's guidelines, OBC category is further divided into two sub-categories: OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) and OBC-CL (Creamy Layer). The category under which you fall within the Central Government structure makes reservation benefits unavailable to you. Choose General when completing the category choice box.

Additionally, the NTA (National Testing Agency) releases official mock tests that you can use for practice as well.
