Hello Shivani, Taking a year to clear JEE Mains is your wish. But my suggestion is that, you can opt for any other better college, may be a private college.

Admission requirements for B.Arch in Sir JJ University, Mumbai is via NATA, and you will not be eligible for admission to this college via JEE Mains paper-2 marks. Admission Process:
Admission is through counselling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra based on marks obtained in 10+2/ Diploma and score obtained in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). Selection parameter and weightage:
10+2/ Diploma marks - 50%
NATA score - 50%

He has a got a chance for most NITs barring the top ones at Trichy and Surathkal. In 2017, 130 marks in OBC category was enough to get an NIT.

If you want to study only at JMI irrespective of the course, then of course, the university has various tests and score parameters to determine that. However, for B.Tech, only JEE Mains is the option.
