With the help of NCERT, you can score 40-50 marks but if you want to score more than that then you have to study other books like Engage, JD Lee, etc.

NO, there is no other exam conducted except JEE Mains for admission but you can try out for college level counselling (CLC) in which students get admission on their 10th and 12th percentage.

I was a student of VMC. I would suggest you to join VMC if your basics are not clear or you are an average student. If you are a good student and know various things of 11th and 12th then go for FIIT-JEE.

R.D. Sharma (objective) is enough for JEE Mains but you have to do it by yourself and with help of solutions you have to learn from every single question of that book then only you can score good marks in JEE.

Check the dates for JEE Mains correction are out or not on the internet. CBSE provides dates for correction in JEE Mains form but mostly in the last week of January.

You don't have to worry about % of boards, because minimum % required for admision in NITs is only 60% for SC/St. And, the JEE rank only depends on your JEE score not on your boards percent.
