When completing the JEE Mains application form you should enter your improvement score if it is higher than the original score. JEE Main - Main considers the best of the two scores for ranking and eligibility.

If your improvement score is lower or you haven't received the result yet it's better to stick with the original score. Make sure you include accurate information as per the official guidelines.

It's always a good idea to check the official JEE Main website for the latest instructions before submitting your form.

If you do not have scores in JEE Main, still, you are eligible for counseling in MP for BE (Bachelor of Engineering) through MP Online portal for admission in engineering college in MP. Some colleges in MP accept admissions based on MHT-CET scores. If you have given MHT-CET, then you can also appear for counseling. In addition, the private institutions can give direct admissions or on some other grounds and, therefore, check the specific requirements of participating institutions and verify your eligibility on the official MP BE counseling portal.

The ST category rank cannot be determined directly from the All India Rank (AIR) and percentile. The number of students in the ST category and their performance are considered to determine the ST category rank. The ST category rank is normally determined by taking the rank distribution of the category as a whole and the percentile estimates your position relative to other students. Since you have an AIR of 533900 and a percentile of 55.56, expect that your ST category rank would be lower than AIR but the rank depends upon how many ST candidates appear in the examination and scores they obtain. It is prudent to check the category-wise r

There is no such thing as fixed passing marks out of 300 in JEE Main. Instead, qualification is dependent upon the cutoff percentile, which keeps varying year-wise based on variables like difficulty of the exam, the number of candidates appearing for it, and available seats.

For the general category, the cutoff percentile ranges approximately 88-90 and thus marks to score around 70-90 marks. In reserved categories, cutoff is much lower, thereby easy qualification.

These cutoffs determine eligibility for JEE Advanced and admissions to top colleges. Always check the official cutoff for the year you are appearing to stay updated.
