50% of the intake is through ACPC which uses GUJCET's ranks and the remaining 50% is through JEE Mains ranks, where in you have to fill a separate application to join the college.

Hello Zeenaat,
JEE is the highly competitive undergraduate examination for admission Into IITs, NITs, etc.
You can also appear for other top exams of private universities like BITSAT, VITEEE, SRM JEE, AEEE, MOUET, etc.
These exams will be held in the months of April and May. Generally, they will be held only after JEE Mains examination.
All the best!

Your basics should be clear. In an exam which Lacs of people give the CBSE checks the basics of the students. Marks of 12th grade are of no importance unless it is less than 75%.

You will have to quit your course in B.Sc and appear for the JEE Advanced. Once you clear the JEE Advanced you would have to appear for the JEE Mains. After completing these two stages, if you are placed in the merit list in the JEE Mains you would qualify for JEE Mains counselling. Good luck!

Seemant Institute of Technology is not a good institute in terms of faculty and placements, would recommend you to opt for some other better college.

It depends upon cut-off. But according to this year, the cutoff were 81.
So, 160 is not enough for CSE in top NITs.
But, you can GFTIS and good state government colleges.

First of all, scoring 69% in Boards when you're aiming for Top IITs of India doesn't bode well. You have to improve your HS score as well as crack JEE (Mains and Advanced) to ensure a seat in the desired IIT. The JEE Advanced Cut-off this year for various IITs in terms of opening ranks suggests that one needs to land a Rank somewhere near 1000. It is quite hard to get admissions in the prestigious IITs hence their fame.
