The cutoff for the JEE Main at Canara Engineering College (CEC) differs according to the course and category of the student. For example, in the KCET 2024 (Karnataka Common Entrance Test), the closing ranks were different in the B.Tech course. In some popular courses, such as B.E. in Computer Science, the closing rank was 39,604 during Round 1 but escalated to 42,915 in the final round. Other branches, like Mechanical Engineering, closed with a rank of 117,962 in the final round.

The JEE Main 2024 registration is open from February 2024 with an exam date scheduled for April 2024. The application process for both sessions will begin in December 2023, with the first exam in January 2024 and the second session in April 2024.

The result date for the admission process to M.S. Engineering College normally coincides with the formal declaration by the National Testing Agency, NTA, of JEE Main results. For 2024, JEE Main is likely to declare results in the month of February for the January session and April for the April session after its exams are over. Though, the date of result is to be declared later on by NTA on their website. After the release of results, M.S. Engineering College will consider the scores of JEE Main score for admission into B.E. / B.Tech. programs in the institution.

Firstly, clear all your fundamentals about all the chapters in all 3 subjects. You should be knowing major concepts and their applications.
Practice Mock tests and sample papers- Candidates must practice more and more JEE Main sample papers and mock tests. These mock tests and sample papers will open the candidates to different types of questions daily and will help them analyze their performance.
Try to solve every question in under 2minutes so that during exam, you'll get more time to crosscheck your answers.

The admission at SRM is based on the scores in SRMJEEE and not with JEE Mains since SRM is a private University.
Candidates are awarded scholarships like the Founder's Scholarship and the SRM Merit Scholarship as per their performance in the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) and other criteria. Scholarships are offered to SRMJEEE 2025 rank holders up to rank 30000.
