If the candidate does not meet the JEE Advanced cutoff then the candidates can try through JEE Main cutoff. However, if the candidate does not meet the JEEMain cutoff, then he/she cannot participate in the JoSAA counselling.Students who have cleared the JEE Main exam and have not participated in JoSAA Counselling 2024 are eligible to apply for CSAB Counselling 2024. No, unfortunately 72 marks or percentile will not fetch a candidate an NIT despite using the category certificate. You can try in private institutes through direct admission.

CRL stands for common rank list . It is a list released by National Testing Agency (NTA) for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) main examination. The list is based on the scores scored by all the candidates who appeared in the examination, irrespective of their caste .

The NTA has made it very clear that candidates are not allowed to raise objections in the JEE Main final answer key. The candidates' results are prepared using the JEE Main final answer key. No, candidates are allowed to raise objections in the JEE Main final answer kry. The option to raise objections is only available in the provisional answer key.

The JoSAA counselling is free of charge for candidates. They have to pay no fee to get registered for counselling. However, after the seat confirmation, candidates have to pay a certain amount for confirmation of admission. After the admission process is completed, the given amount will be added to the semester fees of the candidate.
The amount for seat confirmation differs from category to category:
General and OBC Category: INR 35,000.
SC/ST/Gen-PwD/OBC-NCL-PwD/SC-PwD or ST-PwD Categories - INR 15,000

For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 16663 and closing rank was 19175 for the general category candidates under All India quota.The admission to NIT for BTech Computer Science and Engineering takes place through JEE Main. Compared to JEE Main 2023, the cutoff has increased by 2.45% this year. The JEE Main cutoff 2024 is 93.23 for the general category, 81.32 for EWS, 60.09 for SC, 46.69 for ST, and 79.67 for OBC. Based on the JEE Main cutoff, admission is given to 26 IITs, 32 NITs, and 33 GFITs.

According to the NTA PwD category's JEE Main 2023 cutoff data, the lowest cutoff is 0.0013527. The highest cutoff, 90.7788642, is for the general category. PwD applicants who achieve an NTA scorer higher than 0.0013527 are qualified to take the JEE Advanced exam to be admitted to IITs. 2023 saw a decrease in the PwD cutoff to 0.0013527 from 0.0031029 in 2022.

Yes, JEE Main counselling conducted by JoSAA does include mock seat allotments. It usually conducts two rounds of mock allotments before the actual seat allotment rounds. This conduct of mocks familiarize candidates with the process and allows them to see which colleges they might get based on their filled choices and expected ranks. These mock rounds are not binding and do not guarantee admission.
