For this year's JEE Mains cut-off, you can contact Admission help line in the month of May 2017 through your NIOS 12th certificate. The Government of India has announced formation of National Testing Agency to conduct all such tests from 2018 onwards. If you are lucky, then 2018 will see single all India test for engineering.

Yes, JEE Mains is enough. You must score above 215 marks.

You need to score around 220-230 in IIT-Mains to get admission in VNIT - Nagpur. A good score in IIT-Mains is good enough to get a seat in any NIT, even if you fail to qualify in IIT - Advanced.

You need to keep your basics clear and practice more and more questions. You can take mock test and refer to NCERT for basic concepts and reference books for various questions.

A percentile is a measure used in statistics indicating the value below, which a given percentage of observations in a group of observations fall. For example, the 90th percentile in JEE Mains means that by the virtue of marks scored in JEE you are in top 10% of the students, who appeared for examination and also 90% students are below marks scored by you.
