There are two options depending on what career you are planning. If you are looking for job immediately after b.tech then taking IIT JEE is a good option. If you have plans for higher education as MBA, m.tech etc then continue with the current course and develop some good projects , research proposals. Take internships and prepare for GATE.

your marks are very poor in board and JEE main try for good pvt. college in your nearby city or you can drop 1 year if you have that confidence that you can prepare n crack in another attempt.
