First, you can do NCERT so that the concepts should be clear in mind. You can also prefer some books for practice like: RD Sharma for mathematics, DENESH or HC Verma for physics and for chemistry, NCERT is very important. You can also solve previous year question papers.

Hello,
Since, JEE mains is conducted by CBSE board. I will suggest you to read all the NCERT books of concerned subject. But, NCERT will only help you to clear chemistry part. You should read some institute materials and solve the questions.
For reference, you can use HCV for physics and practice more questions. It will help you a lot.

The improvement form will be available at the end of August and first week of September on official website of CBSE from where you can fill the improvement form. You will give the improvement exam in all the subjects or that subject in which you got less marks or it's your choice which subjects you want to apply then you have to take print out of e-challan and keep a xerox of e-challan with youself.
