Make sure you prioritize the IIITs and branches that most interest you when filling out your options.To increase your chances, take into account both CSE and CSE with AI.Examine the opening and closing ranks from the prior year for the IIITs that pique your attention. This will help you to better understand your situation.

Candidates aiming for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) need to meet these cutoff marks in JEE Mains to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2026.

Visit the JEE Main website, which is the official registration page for the exam. Look for a link that reads "Forgot Application Number?" or something similar. or even "Forgot Registration Number?" Usually, the login page has this.Details like your name, date of birth, mother's and father's names, and security pin (captcha code) will need to be entered.Once the necessary information has been entered, submit the form. The application number you submitted will show up on the screen. Make a note of it and save it. You can get help from the JEE Main Helpline or support services if you are unable to get your application number using the aforementioned procedure.

JEE Main rank is not considered for the NDA exam. The NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission UPSC for selection of candidates for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course. JEE Main is a separate exam which is conducted for admission to BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/Plan courses at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognised by participating State Governments. Candidates for NDA are selected based on their performance in the written exam and interview. Besides, the physical and medical fitness of candidates are also checked.

SASTRA University BTech admission criteria are divided into two streams and they are as mentioned below:

Stream 1: JEE Mains + Class 12 marks (50% weightage given to each), for admission to 50% of the total seats

Stream 2: Class 12 marks (100% weightage), for admission to the remaining 50%

For 50% of the total seats, the University accepts JEE Main scores and for the rest of the seats, admission is done based on the merit secured by the candidate in the qualifying exam.

The score obtained at 35 percentile will not be much favorable in JEE Main. With such a percentile, candidates will not qualify for the counselling process and will not be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced examination. However the candidate may use the board exam scores to obtain a seat.
