Infrastructure can be better. Overall, it is a decent college and must go if you get a good branch.
Placements: About 52.3% of students got placed with an average package of 16 LPA. The highest package offered is 83 LPA, and the lowest in the branch is 12 LPA. The recruiting companies are JP Morgan, Microsoft, Deloitte, etc. Top roles offered are software developer and finance manager.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the 1st year boys hostel Shivalik is not that good as it is really old. Mess food is okay. Campus is not very big. Sports center and gym are available. There is a PEC market where you can get stationery and other food stuff. There is a dispensary in PEC market to get dedication.
Faculty: Professors are decent and lectures are held generally in batches of 60 so there is not much crowd in the lecture times. 1st year curriculum is not that good but again, it's the same for every college. Engineering drawing department is very bad. Semester exams are not that difficult, overall easy.
Other: Connectivity is top notch as it is in Chandigarh city. The Pecfest is lit, and clubs are also active here. Surroundings are also good but there are not much and scholarships provided by the college.

Absolutely satisfied with the college facilities, faculty members, infrastructure, and placements.
Placements: Last year, 52.3% of students got placed in my course. The average package was 16 LPA. The highest package was 83 LPA and the lowest package in the branch was 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies at PEC are Microsoft, Uber, Google, and Deloitte. Top roles offered were software development and finance management.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available 24x7 in the PEC campus and hostels. Sometimes, there is a discontinuity in hostels. Classrooms are well-equipped with all facilities such as projectors, white screens, blackboards, air conditioning, proper light, and seating arrangement. The library is common for all and not open 24x7. The college does not have good sports facilities. Mess food is neither too good nor too bad. The medical dispensary is available but not open 24x7.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are PhD holders from well-known institutions like IITs and are helpful. According to me, the course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Nearly 90% of students pass the course.
Other: Most colleges do not have a course that completely focuses on data science, so I chose this course in college. There is an arrangement of PECFEST in the month of November on the college campus by students themselves.

It is a good college. I would suggest you have a look and grab the opportunity.
Placements: Discipline of Data Science has been in PEC since 2021, there has not been any student from data science to be placed. About internships and PPO, one-third of the seniors got internships. While in CSE, the highest package is 50 LPA in recent years, and the lowest package is around 5 LPA - 5.5 LPA. The average package is around 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: In PEC for boys, there are 4 hostels such as Shiwalik, Aravali, Himalaya, and Kurukshetra, for girls there are two hostels such as Kalpana Chawla and Vindhya. Food in hostels is good and can be considered average while rooms are good for living. Himalaya and Kurukshetra are a little far from the academic block.
Faculty: Faculty members here have graduated from good colleges like IITB, MIT, and so on. They are good and friendly. Teaching quality of some teachers is very good while others are average. It might be difficult to understand some subjects like Physics and mechatronics but it is not that difficult. Semester exams in this college are good and contain most of the theories and practical questions.
Other: Honesty I had an interest in data and curriculum related to data, like management, analysis, etc. However, I find a side for improvement by including more programming languages in the course. Fests in PEC are famous we call it PECFEST. It is very interesting, and various singers come and perform at PEC. This fest includes various events organised by clubs and societies.

Our college has good placements, infrastructure, library, and sports facilities.
Placements: Our college provides excellent placements. Almost 91% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 83 LPA on-campus and the highest salary package offered is 1.5 crores per annum on off-campus. The average salary package offered is 24 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Atlassian, Uber, etc., visit our campus. Many students get internships. The stipend offered is 1.5 LPA. Top roles offered are software developer, application developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is old but good. Wi-Fi speed is good up to 20 Mbps. Hostels are good and clean. The quality of the food is good. Medical facilities are available. Sports facilities are good. Our college has a gym, basketball court, cricket ground, athletic ground, football ground, and swimming pool available. The club room is available, where we can play table tennis, carrom, football, etc.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified, cooperative, and helpful. Semester exams are easy, and practicals are performed. Industrial visits help students become industry-ready. The course curriculum is relevant. The CGPA is calculated by comparing other students' marks.
Other: Our college organises many events, like Pecfest, which is excellent.

Good placements but bad infrastructure and faculty .
Placements: The only good thing about the college is its placement. All the top companies visit the campus during the placement. Although it is the first of this batch, the placement of other circuital branches is extremely good, with an average package of over INR 20 lakhs.
Infrastructure: The condition of the hostels is literally poor. Single rooms have been converted to double rooms with common almirahs in order to accommodate more students in the hostel. The washrooms are not maintained. The condition of the labs is also not that good.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is not up to the mark. Some teachers are good and teach well, but the others are not good and just teach for the sake of completing the syllabus. The curriculum is also not updated, and some useless subjects are also taught in the college.
