Hello Mulan, you have got the OBC rank of 46000. All seats put together in different NIT's and GFTI's are roughly about 50000 and the percentage of OBC is I think about 27%. So you can imagine how many seeds are available for those under OBC category. However getting a seat is a different dynamics itself. It all depends on how different students fill up their choices. To help you in this I am attaching a link that can predict the branch and the college that you can get based on your performance in JEE Mains. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/jee-main-college-predictor
Best wishes to you.

The JEE Main exams held twice in years. Generally exam held in January and April. If the corona pandemic is under control then exam will be held on same time. Otherwise it will be postponed.

Please write about the home state you belong to for a better response. Because NITs seem difficult for getting through other state quota in asked category.

No, you will not be able to get NIT Allahabad. As your JEE Mains percentile is not upto their cutoff. But from these marks you can apply for many private colleges that will help you in a bright future. So BEST OF LUCK!

In board exams, 70% is enough and for JEE Mains it will depend upon whether you want to take top engineering college then you should have more than 97 percentile. If you want a simple engineering government college then 75 percentile is enough.

In this percentile, you will not be able to get any government college. So I would suggest to go for private colleges. I will prefer you to go with LPU as first preference and CU as second preference. Placement of these colleges are good. So you can think about them. So BEST OF LUCK!
