Do not worry much, change has been made and it must be accepted anyway. Now 15 questions will decide turn the things bit difficult and may be MCQs may also be asked with double concept like JEE Advanced. Appear exam happily as you have two attempts for JEE Mains Exam and difficulty level is same for all aspirants. Consider the fact that number of questions have been decreased within the same time span according to updated JEE Main Paper Pattern. Level of JEE Main was never easy so now also it won't be but average time for a single question has been increased. One more thing do not leave any numerical answer type question unattemp

NTA has changed JEE Main exam pattern. The best change is decreasing the number of questions. From 90 questions to 75 questions within the same time span, of course a joyous step. Although questions may have double concept like JEE Advanced as from now for every question candidate will have more than 2 minds for JEE Mains paper Also, the negative marking is planned the right way as there is negative marking for objective questions but for numerical answer type questions there is no negative marking. But 15 Questions may turn the whole picture upside down. And there are only 5 numerical based question for each subject I. e. 60 out

As JEE Main is now conducted twice a year we can try our luck two times. Officials will consider the best performance out of the two. In January itself you can check yourself that are you ready for April or not. You will give yourself a perfect revision before board exams if you appear for January JEE Mains Exam. Many of aspirants will not have to take drop now. And now when exam pattern is changed too. It is mandatory having an extra attempt to get to know what type of questions there will be is numerical answer type. Also, 2nd attempt helps backfire the mistakes a candidate made in the first attempt of JEE Mains.
