Hello,
Now when JEE Main Exam Pattern has been released then we must accept it and we must consider it for better score only. NTA has decreased number of questions in the exam not timing yet difficulty level may increase. As per JEE Main Paper pattern 15 questions have direct answers (with no minus marking) that will help in JEE Advanced preparation as well. There is an option of trail attempt in January. You have to fight for 300 not 360. Likewise previous years this time as well pwd candidates will get 1 hour extra to perform in the exam. So ultimately no major changes have been introduced.

Hello,
The major update about JEE Mains 2020 is as fellow-
The registrations which were scheduled from 2nd sept 2019 started a day late from 3rd sept 2019. Moreover, NTA JEE Main released the information bulletin which disclosed the changes in exam pattern and marking scheme. Now JEE Mains Exam is of 300 marks (Paper 1)
Number of questions have been decreased. Now there will be only 75 questions instead of 90 to be solved within 3 hours. Icing on the cake, which I know many students would not like is the addition of 5 questions NAT I. e. their answer would be a numerical value. Hope it helps.

For that you need to have very good percentage in class 12th board, as their cut-off is too high. JEE Mains is also very important especially for NIT.

Hi,
Every board has a multiplying factor to convert GPA to percentage. If it is not then multiply your GPA with 9 and that will be your class 12th percentage.

JEE Main conduct two paper known as JEE Main-Paper-1 and JEE Main-Paper-2. JEE Main-Paper-1 is for BE/B.Tech admissions, While JEE Main-Paper-2 is for B.Arch and B. Planning admission. So if you are interested in doing B.Arch/B.Planning courses from reputed IITs, NITs and GFTIs, than you have to appear in JEE Main-Paper-2. Further if you have failed in JEE Main-Paper-2 than you will not be able to get admission in above said institutions. However you are still eligible for other Private institutions offering B.Arch/Planning courses. Otherwise the best approach is to reappear in JEE Main-Paper-2 with full preparation.
