• In case the relevant JEE Main Qualifying Exam is not a public examination, the candidate must have passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University) examination at an earlier level.

• Other branches in top NITs: If you are flexible with the branch, you might have better chances in other engineering branches that are less competitive compared to ECE.
