M.A. Journalism needs a really good faculty but this is not enough. The college from you pursue your degree has a lot to do for shaping your career. Yes, it is always good to pursue Journalism studies after 12th itself. AFCOS IIMCs are good without any doubt but there are few other institutes across the country which are equally good as IIMC's. Few things you should keep on your mind prior to proceed for Journalism degree.
Do they have an experienced faculty (Faculty must have expertise in theory and practical both). Do they have Adequate/appropriate equipment to make you expert in handling them? Do they have such atmosphere where you can have an experience to perform practically? Do they have Industrial Tie Ups? Do they provide Teachings from external experts?
