For answering your query, I went through the details of both the colleges and came to the conclusion that both the colleges are well-reputed colleges in this field. B.J. M. C. from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies has it's own value and Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from IIJNM, Bangalore has it's own value. Following is the minimum eligibility criteria required for the candidates interested in pursuing course the course MA Journalism & Mass Communication :
1.Applicants must possess Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in it.
2.Some of the reputed institutes and universities also conduct an entrance examination to get admission in MA (Journalism & Mass Communication)
3.Students proficiency in English communication is also a plus point for getting admission in the course.

You need to have arts as your subjects for applying in journalism and mass communication courses. Also, you need to have 60% marks for some reputed colleges.
