The average course fee charged for Diploma in Journalism course by various institutes ranges from INR 10,000 to 5 Lacs. The course involves advanced professional learning in writing news for newspapers, magazines, broadcasting news on radio or television, dissemination of information about current events, trends, issues, and people. Diploma in Journalism: Eligibility : Listed below are the minimum criteria which candidates interested in pursuing the course are required to fulfill, in order to be eligible to apply for Diploma in Journalism course.
1. Successful qualification of the 10+2 level of education in any stream, from a recognised educational Board.
2. A minimum aggregate score of 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the 10+2 level.

Hello Abhi Approximately, it is similar. However, here I am providing you the information regarding the syllabus of PG Diploma in Journalism (in Asian college of Journalism). They have divided their syllabus in three terms. In first term, there is reporting, writing and investigation. There you will study about reporting, writing, editing, tools of modern journalist, key issues in Journalism, and media law and society. In second term, you will to get specialization, here you will be developing skills of interviewing, news gathering, researching, developing stories , produce newspapers, TV/Radio programmes etc. In third term, you will be getting expertise in your desired field.
