The entrance test of Journalism generally consists of 4 sections, namely Quantitative aptitude, Reasoning ability, English Language Comprehension and General awareness. You can refer to Arihant's Entrance Exam Guide to Mass Communication, Manorama Yearbook and Keval J Kumar's Mass Communication in India for the preparation.

Modelling and Journalism are totally different industries. You cannot become a model by pursuing Journalism. Yet, because your question is about PG course in Journalism, here is the information. No, journalism colleges will provide free education though. But you will definitely find scholarships to raise fund for your education. You need to choose the right channel to capture your funds and then their might be some percentage of amount reduced I would say concession on your total fees.
