Hi,
If you are not interested in M.Tech in your post-graduation and you are interested in journalism and mass communication, you can go for M.A. (Journalism & Mass Communication). Eligibility for M.A. (Journalism & Mass Communication) in most of the top universities is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor's Degree. (It may vary with the university you choose)

You can do Bachelors in Mass Media and then opt for journalism in your third year and then go for further advanced study and internships.

If you have a Bachelor's degree in Mass Media or Communication, it would be helpful and the institute can train you with practical knowledge. So, doing both will be helpful and at the same time, your job will be secured.

Candidates who have completed Bachelor's degree in journalism or an equivalent bachelor's degree with 50% of marks from a recognized university are eligible for PG Diploma in journalism course. Candidates who have completed their 3 years Diploma course in any stream from a recognized board are eligible for this course.
