There are multiple campuses of Iims now. I am sure you are aware of that. Which campus do you wish to know about? Besides, the structure is same. Over the years, IIMC has expanded and started Postgraduate
Diploma courses in Journalism (English and
Hindi, Advertising and Public Relation and Radio &
TV) (As the Prospectus says)
You shall be highly benefitted if you go through this details document:

Hi Azi!
It is upto you, which field attracts you the most and where your interest lies. MSW candidate is well suited for the roles such as Counselor, Trainer and many more which lead to organisation development. Journalism, on the other hand, makes you a reporter, correspondent, news anchor, camera person etc. If remuneration is your priority, I would suggest you to go into Journalism. If not, and social work is more important to you than pay scale, MSW should be your choice.

The question is a common query on Shiksha and on many other platforms. It is often asked by the students as well. The Name- ' nomenclature' is given to a course by a University which has the right to do so. The equality of the course has to be determined though with other Institutions. M.A. In Mass Comm, or M.A in mass communication and Journalism are same. I have done an M.A in Journalism and Mass Communication which is same as well as equal to an M.A. In Mass Comm. Even the M.A in Media Studies shall be considered equal and same.
