The first thing that you need to do is to choose a decent college that I would recommend you is PCTE Group of Institutes since I have done my Masters from PCTE, I can assure you that PCTE is a college that is known for providing hands on experience to its students. Having said that Journalism and Mass Communication is a practical oriented course and requires learning of many technical aspects. M.A. Journalism needs a really good faculty but this is not enough. The college from you pursue your degree has a lot to do for shaping your career. It is not only in giving placements but a lot more. The university right from the campus prepares you for jobs of journalism from the campus itself. My friend Vikrant Pratap from Lovely Professional University, was directly selected from the campus by ANI. There are many reasons for such selections. If you are interested to become a journalist, you should definitely opt for a graduate programme in Journalism and Mass Communication programme after class 12th. These courses offer you specific subject and even more important skills like reporting, editing, anchoring, video shooting, using drones, mixing and editing, layout, publishing, public relations, media laws, et al. You can choose Journalism for your Graduation course. LPU has great faculty and provides an ample amount of opportunities to the students. Exposure is what most required in this course. So, choose well.
