You will have to pursue Masters in mass communication to become a journalist. The best institute to get into is IIMC, appear for entrance tests, clear it successfully and pursue one year PG course.

Hello Srinivas,
PG Diploma is considered equivalent to a post-graduate degree, however, even by many, it is not included as a degree course. It is a Diploma course. MA is a post-graduate degree. Moreover, journalism and mass communication together is a wide topic that will cover all the aspects. It is not just limited to journalism only. You will have more options (other than a journalist).

Hello Anubhav Bachelor's in mass communication, Bachelors in journalism, or a combo of both that is Bachelors in journalism and mass communication. Apart from this you can go for a Diploma or certificate course. This way you can apply for any media organisation (preferring your language). Automobile journalists or motoring journalist are responsible for reviewing and reporting on new cars and developments in the motor vehicle industry. Pursue Mass Communication course from reputed college and side by side reviewing new cars, bike etc. And publish an article or make a video.

You can become a journalist by choosing any stream in class 12th, and I am also from Biology and I am going to pursue Journalism this year. Just get a good percentage and apply for BJMC in college and various college have their own entrance exam, so prepare yourself for it.
