Hello Satvik,
Generally, if you fail in one or two subjects then colleges allow you to attend class in the 2nd year and then give the exam next year with the paper of 2nd year but if you fail in honours subject then you have to first pass the exam and then attend the next year's class. For more details, please contact to your college's Head of Department.

It totally depend on counselling. There is less change to get HBTU-Kanpur. But, still you can try this. Or, you can visit another college. All the best.

HBTI is no longer a part of UPTU. You can try in IET-Lucknow, KNIT-Sultanpur or BIET-Jhansi.

Hello, hope you are doing well. Yes, you can take part in HBTU counseling but your rank will be evaluated on the basis of general category and that will be tough for you to get this college.

As you mentioned in the JEE form that you are from general, all the colleges will take you on the basis of your general category. So, you should try for the college you desire. Otherwise, there are so many private college options for you.

Hello Priyanshi,
I'm not sure about BCA but I can certainly tell you about Banasthali Vidyapeeth. Fashion designing from Banasthali Jaipur, has a good scope. Though, it's a girls school and college, still the courses carried there are really great. The facilities, teaching staff and everything else is good enough to study in a proper environment. Plus, there is maximum chances of placement as it's a girls college which eventually has some benefits for every girl.
