It is a national scholarship which offers financial aid worth EUR 300 (INR 30.8 K) per month for a period of at least 2 semesters to international  students. 
To be eligible, you need to show excellence in past academics and should be applying to a degree course in the country.

The general eligibility criteria for applying to DAAD are given below:

  • Should prove English and, in some cases, proficiency in the German language
  • Applying to either a degree course, short program, language program, prep course, or joint or double degree course, you are also eligible

All the B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) courses at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology are taught in the German language. In order to pursue B.Ed. courses at this university, international students must provide proof of German language proficiency at the C1 level to be enrolled in the program.
