KSOU admission to a majority of undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on marks scored in the last qualifying exam. Admission to the BSc programme at KSOU is based on merit. For candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria and who have prepared well, it is not hard to get admission at KSOU. The BSc curriculum is divided into six semesters. The core subjects in the curriculum of BSc at KSOU contain a variety of disciplines that permit the students to develop interest-based specialisations. There is a different syllabus for every course. However, the course curriculum includes a semester-wise list of subjects. Other than the core subjects, the students shall also engage with courses on Skill Enhancement and Compulsory Language and Environmental Studies.
