KSOU Mysore offers the BCom programme with a majorly distant and online mode of education so that there can be flexibility for students in pursuing studies with other engagements. The BCom course duration is three years. Courses would be delivered through live lectures and recorded sessions so that there will be continuity in engagement and accessibility for students. The university also provides study material to students enrolled under its BCom programme.

Admission to the BCom programme in KSOU Mysore is merit-based. The university considers it by virtue of the performance of the candidate in their qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) and not through any entrance test.
