Hi, The basic difference between these two courses are that in B.A. (Hons), you study a particular specialisation papers in the third years whereas in B.A. There is no specialisation. In the above case you will have specialisation in English. Thanks.

The syllabus consists of whatever is covered during graduation. Entrance exam is basically to know one's aptitude and whether there is sufficient knowledge to undertake PG in English. Best wishes

Yes, you can definitely appear for improvement exam conducted by CBSE for the subject you wish for provided you haven't been declared failed in the subject. Also, there won't be any chance of losing anything.

Yes, you can do Masters in English while doing the Open School course. As far as I know, Doing M.A. In the Distance Mode/Correspondence Mode is possible because Open Course shall not come as a hindrance. You may please think of options such as Kurukshetra University or any other reputed Distance Education Institution.
