Hello,
If you have completed Masters in the English, you have a very good career option available in the lectureship and Research programme. The NET Exam is conducted every year in the month of June and December. To become eligible for the NET Exam, you need to complete Masters in the given field with 55 % marks (For women and reserved candidates the eligibility is 50 % marks). The age limit to appear in the NET Exam is 30 year for the Unreserved candidates (while for the Female and Reserved candidates the eligibility is 35 years). If you qualify the JRF Exam you will get scholarship worth INR 25,000 per month.

Hi Madhusri,
The minimum eligibility criterion required for the candidates is to possess a Bachelor's degree in English or relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Admission to MA English is done on the basis of entrance tests. However, some MA English colleges also provide direct admission based on merit. You can apply to any university in order to pursue Masters in English. You are an eligible candidate for all universities, if you have scored 60% marks at least in your graduation.

If you are aspiring to be a pilot, then it will not be of any major use, because you will be flying in an environment where English will be majorly used for almost all the communication. Radio Telephony and ATC communications will require usually English and you may also communicate in French, but only when you fly in French airspace.
