Candidates with minimum 50% marks(45% in case of OBC, SC, ST & PH) either in Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities are eligible for this course.
B.E/B.Tech with specialization in science or mathematics with 55% are also eligible.
If you fulfill the criteria, then you can apply.

The admission in DU is on the basis of class 12th percentage. For B.A. (hons) English, best 4 subjects marks are calculated against the cut off released by DU. If you add physical education in best 4 subjects, your some marks are deducted. You can also download the brochure of Delhi University, and you can also check out the last year cut off for different course on Delhi university website.

No, you can't pursue this course because you have a very low percentage in class 12. But if you belong to ST category you had a chance to get admission in this course in out of campus colleges such as Swami Shraddhanand College, Delhi, Satyawati College (evening shift) and many more. You can visit DU website for further information.
