Dear Student,
We have different programmes like pass programme (B.Tech 4 years) ,Hons programme, Integrated B.Tech+M.Tech, integrated B.Tech+MBA, Dual Degree B.Tech+M.Tech, Dual Degree B.Tech+MBA and Specialized B.Tech Programmes.
Each of these Programmes has different number of seats. In certain case it's 480 and in some cases it's lesser also. In case of honors it is 90 or 120. You have heard wrong about placements. All selected candidates get offer letters. Our students are working with MNC's at lucrative packages. We never came across any case where a student got selected but does not have an offer letter.
