Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware.

Orphan. LPU offers a special scholarship of Full Tuition fee waiver to Indian resident orphan students whose both parents are dead. The university gives scholarships based on a first come first serve basis to 10 applicants. The candidate having a benchmark disability of more than 70% and/or Locomotor disability caused by spinal cord injury can avail the benefit of a full programme fee waiver. However, the LPU committee scrutinizes the case. Hi there, in case there is a gap after post-graduation, you can submit a self-signed affidavit as to why there was a gap. In case there has been a medical reason, you can submit a medical Certificate. A gap is not a problem in pursuing studies. At LPU both Full Time & Part-time Ph.D. programs are available in LPU. In Case of Ph.D. Part-Time programme, applicants are required to submit a NOC (No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of admission. Other than Engineering disciplines, Students who have done their Masters in Distance Mode, are eligible for the Ph.D. programme. The duration of the Ph.D. programme will be a minimum of 3 Years & a Maximum of 6 Years (2 Years extra relaxation is also there for the female students). LPU offers flexible course work in three different options and the tentative schedule is mentioned below:
Option I Duration - One semester - August to November 2021 - Saturdays 03:00 P. M. - 05:00 P. M. Sundays 09:00 A. M. - 04:00 P. M. Option II Duration - 4 days* every month (*preferably every second week (Thursday-Sunday) September to December 2021- 09:00 A. M. - 06:00 P. M. (daily)
