Hi Sakshi, Keeping in mind the kitchen, there are many different kinds of chefs, you may opt for the bakery & confectionery, salads or even garnish sections as these do not involve non veg. Otherwise in case you are willing to cook non veg food, it is not so necessary for vegetarian students to taste what they have made. It will be suffice if they are willing to cook non-vegetarian dishes. Well, already in the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. Therefore you need to SEE the criteria for your desired programme. LPU believes in the fact that money should not be a constraint for a student to pursue his choice of studies. Scholarship can be availed in the various courses offered by LPU.
LPU offers scholarship on the various categories :-
The first and foremost category is that a student can avail the scholarship on the basis of his/her previous qualification or previous to previous qualification which should be minimum of 70 percentage. For instance if a student is applying for a Bachelors degree, LPU will be considering the 12th marks or 10th marks whichever will be higher.

The eligibility requirement for this programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2 , or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPUNEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.
In this Physics, Maths and English as mandatory subjects and other two subjects can be your choice. While calculating the aggregate these 3 subjects are mandatory.

Hi Narain, Yes, you can do. LPU offers Full Time and Part Time Ph.D. Programmes under various disciplines. Admission to the Ph.D. Programmes will be through LPUNEST (Ph.D. ) and Interview. Moreover, LPU offers flexible coursework options-
1) Classes on weekends (Saturday & Sunday only)
2) 4 days course work every month (Preferably every second week: Thu-Sun)
3)15 days course work (November/December)
The entrance exam was on 24 and 26 july. Result will be out on August 3, 2020
And interviews from 11 to 16 August. Hope this helps
