Students applying should have successfully finished a Master of Arts in History or any equivalents course with minimum of 55% aggregate score. Beside M.A. Score some colleges conduct their entrance examination and a personal interview. Eligibility criteria is as below. Completion of Bachelor's Degree in any faculty or discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum of 50% marks at the level of graduation.
Candidates from Arts background are given preference.
The maximum age of the candidate should not be more than 26 years.

Selection Process : Through Departmental Test
Test Paper Details : There shall be one paper comprising 80 questions with the following breakup :
a) 70 Objective Type Questions (Multiple Choice) : 140 marks.
b) 10 Short Answer Type Questions : 60 marks
Note : The qualifying candidates must obtain ten percent of the maximum marks in each
sections (a) and (b) of the Test paper.
Test duration: 2 hours
The M.A. admission test for 2018-19 was prepared on the basis of our B.A. (Final) Syllabus
