There aren't many options for distance courses after M.A. History. Although, after being an M.A. In History, there are many career options like teaching, archaeology, museology.

Students applying should have successfully finished a Master of Arts in History or any equivalents course with minimum of 55% aggregate score. Beside M.A. Score some colleges conduct their entrance examination and a personal interview. Selection Process : Through Departmental Test
Test Paper Details : There shall be one paper comprising 80 questions with the following breakup :
a) 70 Objective Type Questions (Multiple Choice) : 140 marks.
b) 10 Short Answer Type Questions : 60 marks
Note : The qualifying candidates must obtain ten percent of the maximum marks in each
sections (a) and (b) of the Test paper.
Test duration: 2 hours
