Students holding Bachelor's degree with 60 percent marks (55 percent for reserved category) are eligible to apply. Eligible students should visit the IIT Bombay website to fill the application form. The selection is through GATE or MAAT exam followed by an interview round.

The total seat intake for MA by Research is 20. This seat intake is as per the 2022-2023 sanctioned strength. Additionally, the seats are reserved for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)/Other Backward Class Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL)/Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwD).

Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree (BA/ BCom or other degrees) or a four-year BA, BS, BTech or an earlier postgraduate degrees such as MA, MSc, etc. with a minimum of 60% aggregate for GN/ EWS/ OBC (NC) and 55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD can apply for MA by Research. Aspirants shall keep the documents for verification ready at the time of admission as well.

MA fees is INR 20,000. Candidates opting for hostel facilities will have to pay charges up to INR 88,000. This fee is calculated as per the first year/semester fees and hence the actual fee may vary.

Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can fill out the application form by visiting the IIT-M official website (iitmandi.ac.in). Aspirants further need to take the entrance test conducted by the institute followed by a personal interview round. The weightage of the exam score is 60% and for the interview is 40%. Based on candidates' performance in both the selection rounds, seat allotment is carried out.

Ofcourse M.Sc at Central University of Gujarat has a better placement than M.A at Central University of Gujarat. according to the following statistics ;
M.Sc at Central University of Gujarat - 65% placments rate
whereas M.A. at Central University of Gujarat has - around 50% placement rate

The expected cutoff ranks for M.A. at Manipal Institute of Communication (MIC) range from 583 to 35385. For the general category, the cutoff is expected to be around 39000th to 40000th rank, while for the OBC category, the cutoff is expected to be between 34000th to 35000th rank. The overall cutoff for MIT Manipal for MET ranges from 1083 to 47893 rank.
