In most universities, admission to MA courses for the 2025-26 session will begin on or after April 5th, 2025. For MA programs, one needs to possess a graduation degree with at least a cumulative 50% score. The application process is usually simply checking the eligibility criteria; downloading the prospectus; and filling up an online application form available on the university's website. Most of the universities consider admission into MA programs through CUET-PG entrance. Entrance examinations for M.A in Journalism and Mass Communication happen at different times at individual educational institutions. The following predictions for 2025 entrance exam dates rely on historical patterns as Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) may conduct its exam during the 1st week of April and Xavier Institute of Communications will probably have its exam in April while Delhi University will conduct its exam in May. Several more educational institutions including Jamia Milia Islamia University and Andhra University together with Manipal University are projected to organize their admissions tests in April-May 2025. 

The application period for the MA Applied Psychology at TISS ran from December 15 to February 1 in 2024 for admit season 2024 but it has since come to a close. The eligibility requirements demand graduating students or their equivalent to maintain a minimum 50% mark average from an accredited university or college. Students must pass TISSNET before attending pre-interview evaluations and personal interviews during the selection process. The TISSNET exam fee appears in the application cost even though the complete programme fees remain unspecified. Students are able to combine B.Ed in regular format with M.A through distance learning education framework. The University Grants Commission (UGC) permits students to study two degrees at once by following a regular mode format and a distance learning or online format. Students must verify with universities which offer their programs that they will accept concomitant student enrollment. Proper time management skills are essential for you to handle the coursework demands in regular B.Ed and distance M.A programs simultaneously. The B.Ed programme lasts two years and distance-learning M.A programs require between 2 to 3 years at an annual cost between INR 10,000 and INR 50,000 on average.
